We believe that education plays a crucial role in inspiring the younger generation to care more about society and learn about the meaning of life. In celebration of the International Rare Disease Day, HKMPS has designed 3 sets of online educational resouces for kindergarten, primary and secondary school teaching. Teachers may download the resources from the links below. Through the colouring exercises for kindergarteners and online research projects for primary school students, students will learn more about rare diseases. Schools may also choose to download the factsheets on rare diseases and introduce the subject to the students during in-class or other activities.

For nursery & kindergarten students

(Thank you for your school’s ardent support to Rare Disease Day. On 28 February, we recommend you to put up the finished works in the classroom to increase awareness among students’ and families’ towards rare diseases.)

For primary school students

(Thank you for your school’s ardent support to Rare Disease Day. On 28 February, we recommend you to cut out the coloured hands and put them up in the classroom to further increase awareness towards rare diseases.)
