【香港ムコ多糖症患者会(HKMPS)設立 20 周年記念メッセージ】
香港ムコ多糖症患者会(HKMPS)の設立 20 周年を心よりお祝い申し上げます。
20 年間にわたり、HKMPS は患者さんとご家族にとって希望の光となり、数々の困難を乗り越えながらその歩みを続けてこられました。皆様の情熱と努力に、深い敬意と感謝を表します。
日本のムコ多糖症患者会は設立から 39 年を迎えました。私自身、この患者会に所属して 20 年が経ちますが、その間に多くの学びと気づきを得ることができました。患者さんやご家族の支え合い、社会との連携、そして国を超えた交流の大切さを、HKMPS との活動を通じて改めて実感しています。
ムコ多糖症という希少疾患を抱える患者さんにとって、診断や治療への道のりは決して平坦ではありません。しかし、この 20 年間で HKMPS が築き上げた支援体制とコミュニティは、患者さんやご家族にとって計り知れない価値を提供してきました。それは、HKMPS に関わる全ての皆様の献身的な活動の成果に他なりません。
これからも、HKMPS が患者さんやその家族にとって希望の拠り所となり続け、さらなる発展を遂げることを心より願っております。そして、これからの未来も共に手を携え、ムコ多糖症の患者さんにとってより良い社会を築いていけることを楽しみにしています。
20 周年という節目を迎えられた皆様に、心からの祝福と感謝を申し上げます。

Message to Commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Mucopolysaccharidosis Patients Society (HKMPS)
I would like to congratulate the Hong Kong Mucopolysaccharidosis Patients Society (HKMPS) on its 20th anniversary.
For 20 years, HKMPS has been a beacon of hope for patients and their families, and has continued its progress while overcoming numerous challenges. I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude for your passion and efforts.
The Japanese Mucopolysaccharidosis Patients Association has been in existence for 39 years. I myself have been a member of this patients' association for 20 years now, and I have learned and realized many things during this time. Through my activities with HKMPS, I have realized anew the importance of mutual support among patients and their families, cooperation with society, and exchange across national borders.
For patients with a rare disease called mucopolysaccharidosis, the road to diagnosis and treatment is never smooth. However, the support system and community that HKMPS has built over the past 20 years has provided immeasurable value to patients and their families. It is the result of the dedication of everyone involved with HKMPS.
I sincerely hope that HKMPS will continue to be a beacon of hope for patients and their families, and that it will continue to grow. I look forward to working hand in hand with you in the future to build a better society for patients with mucopolysaccharidosis.
I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and gratitude to all of you on this milestone of our 20th anniversary.
